Description
The Perro de Presa Canario makes
an excellent guard dog and watchdog. It is not recommended for homes with
small children and supervision should occur anytime the Perro de Presa
Canario is around children. Early socialization and training is a MUST
for this breed. They can get along with other dogs, but some dog aggression
has been known to occur. They need regular play and exercise and are not
meant to be indoors all day long. When outside they should be in a secured
yard and when going for a walk, they need a leash.
