Shades of gray from very light
to dark with a little white on the feet and chest or with lighter furnishings
of gray, tan, yellow or off-white. They can also come in a very rare light
brown color.
Coat
The coat is wavy and silky.
Origin
This fairly new breed was developed
in the Czech Republic by Mr. Frantisek Horak. The breed is a cross between
Sealyham and Scottish Terrier. It was originally used to hunt vermin.
He is still used for hunting, as a watch dog and companion dog.
Description
Considered to be the mildest
of the terriers, the Cesky Terrier still has plenty of energy to go around.
They are a friendly, happy playful breed that enjoys companionship. They
make excellent family pets and get along well with children and other
pets and dogs. They are very intelligent and highly trainable. They enjoy
plenty of play and exercise. They make good watchdogs as well and will
alert you if anyone is coming.
