Description
This intelligent, friendly breed
makes an excellent family and hunting dog. They are good with children
and other pets and dogs. It is best to socialize them with smaller pets,
such as cats, when they are young. They are generally easygoing and laid
back. However, when they get into working/tracking mode, they can become
very intense and energetic. They love to do their job and do it well.
They require regular exercise and play. They are not meant to be kept
inside all day.
Health
Overall good health. Some problems
with hip dysplasia and bloat.
